F1 Labra Doodle Litter (Misty) – Born July 25, 2011

All Misty’s puppies have now been SOLD!

All decked out for their first Halloween… these are such sweetheart girls, they lay on their back and suck up all the belly rubs they can get. As you can see they are cat proofed, thanks to Bobbette the 18 year old puppy loving barn cat. I have reduced the price of these pups to $500, they need to get individual attention now, go for walks and have their very own ‘belly rubber’ and a big chair to faithfully lay beside. These girls have had three sets of boosters and been dewormed three times so are Parvo proofed and ready for a walk in the park. They are all showing signs of retrieving, come when they are called, sit, know ‘off’ and ‘stay’ when the kennel door is open. Call or e-mail for more pictures of these pups.

Today (October 2) was picture update day for the crew. They also got dewormed and their third booster today. The first pup (pictured with the blue dog stuffy) is the only male available in this litter. This guy is such a suck, he laid in my lap to have his nails clipped and was in no hurry to roll back over ….belly rubs are one of his favorite things. I hung two pot lids by a chain in their pen yesterday and they are having so much fun with them, it sounds like a commercial kitchen out there with all the clanging of pot lids but they are virtually puppy proof and obviously entertain them for hours. This pup will be 10 weeks old tomorrow and was Misty’s only male from this (her last) litter. He has a very Lab personality like his grandfather (Trump), his coat is soft although it looks wiry in the pictures, and when he is mature he will look like Dayle (Misty’s F1 Labra Doodle sister, you can see her on my web page under retired dogs). Dayle never needed to be clipped, her hair got the length you see in the pictures and never got any longer. She did not shed but did get matts that I simply pulled out in the spring, and she, like Misty, has a soft hearted sweetheart temperament.

The rest of the pups pictured are females. These are such nice pups to work with, they have been treated with kindness, gentleness, and respect and that is what they are giving back. All they want in life is someone to love them with the unconditional love they are so willing to give. These pups will be extremely loyal to their family. They have a crate with no door in their pen and they play in it, takes turns sleeping in it and try to hide out for a nap in it, so crate training will be a breeze. They poop and pee in the designated spot in their pen so I predict house training will be easy also. They are 10 weeks old now and ready to dazzle you with how quickly they catch on to what is wanted of them.

These shots of Misty’s pups were taken September 23rd, 2011. These pups are ready to go. They are really getting to be characters now with wrestling with their siblings. They and are learning ‘come, ‘sit’, and ‘off’ now. They are smart little balls of apricot fur with mild temperaments and eagerness to learn. I am delivering to Alberta again. Delivery is included in the price of the pup as I need to put it safely into your arms where it will stay for the rest of it’s life to love, honor and cherish your family (sounds like wedding vows)….please call or e-mail for additional pictures or information. 306 792-2113

It’s time for some updated pictures of Misty’s puppies! The photos above were taken on September 10th. At the time of this post, there are only 4 left to sell! Sold puppies are always marked as such on their full-sized pictures (which you get to see by clicking on the thumbnails above).

———————————————————–

This is Sally, Misty and Einstein’s smallest female. She is sold to Regina…. I just have to share these pictures I took of her today in the straw bales. She took all the toys into the very back and then laid in front of them. She has been doing this for a few days, I left my camera in the barn on the off chance I may get a picture of the little monkey and she stayed in long enough for me to get two and then came out to play.

Misty and Einstein are pleased to announce their last litter (pictures above were taken on Sept. 1). Misty is retiring to an acreage nearby with friends that have a Collie and horses, she has earned her own family to love her for the sweetheart she is. Misty’s pups were born on July 25th and will be ready to dazzle their forever family on September 19th. They will have two sets of boosters, be dewormed and completely vet checked before leaving… they come with lots of instructions and a bag of the food they are on, vet certificate and their stuffy. The price of the pup ($700) includes delivery to Saskatoon, Regina, Calgary and Edmonton… and points nearby.
These pups are very much looking and acting like they will have more Lab characteristics. They will be loyal, clean, intelligent and very easy to train. They are at such a cute stage right now, there are straw bales in their pen and they have dug a tunnel where they hide all their toys, they are wagging their tails now, come when they are called for breakfast or just to play and they all pee and poop in the designated area.
These pups will mature on the larger side, I am estimating 60 lbs. for the females and the one male will be an 80 lb. dog easily, he is built like his Grandfather “Trump” who is a good solid English Lab. For more pictures of any certain pup, refer to it by the stuffy that is with it. You can call 306-792-2113 or 306-521-1371 for more information or send an e-mail and I will answer you ASAP.

Misty and Einstein’s pups are 4 weeks old now and fat little pork chops! The batch of pictures above was taken on August 23. This is a laid back bunch of pups, the fastest they move is when the dinner bell rings! It is hot out now and sleeping in their whelping box under the fan is their favorite thing to do. They have started helping themselves to dry food so only get their wet mash for breakfast. One puppy is spoken for, the other five are available mid September…. so far it is seeming they are all more Lab temperament like their mum and are all thick, solid pups with sad Lab eyes and tummy rubs rank as their favorite thing to get. I sit on the floor and they climb into my lap with a few grunts and oooooffffffs and lay down for scratches and cuddles. These characters would make wonderful kids dogs. They will be minimal shedders, nobody is super curly, they will have loose wavy shaggy coats when mature at 50 to 70 lbs. (the male may be larger, he is a big lug) and should stand between 22 and 24 inches at the wither. These pups are $700 delivered, two sets of boosters, dewormed and very well handled.

Misty and Einstein are pleased to announce their final F1 Labra Doodle litter.  Misty is retiring to an acreage near by to be a companion to a Collie and four horses.  There are only six pups in this litter with one male who is the curliest of the six. These pups will be ready September 19th at 8 weeks old.  They will have first boosters and be vet checked and dewormed.  These are very well handled pups and will be clean, intelligent, loyal and easy to train. Delivery to Edmonton or Calgary is included in the price of $700 and they are two year health guaranteed.  For information on Misty and Einstein please visit my web page at http://furfettishfarm.ca/ or call 403 919-1370 or 306 521-1371 or 306 792-2113.  Let it ring as I may not be able to answer right away or leave a message and I will call you ASAP.

F1 Labra Doodle Litter (Amber) – Born July 21, 2011

All Amber’s puppies have now been SOLD!

Amber and Einstein have three male pups left to offer for adoption. These characters were born July 21st, 2011 from a litter of eleven pups. The others have gone to their new families and are living from Kitamat and Cranbrook, B.C. to Thompson, Manitoba and points in between and the new owners are very happy with them.

They have three sets of boosters now and have been dewormed regularly. They are all leash broke with a Cesar Milan lead, they sit on command, wait to leave the building or gate when told to wait, and we are now working on down. These guys are all eager to learn and each has his own special personality that I would love to tell you about if you are interested in having one of my boys in your home for the next 15 years.

Please do not decide on a whim to get one of my dogs, I want to put them in the right home the first time every time.

The black fellow with gold highlights is “Charlie”. He would like to be a watch dog and lets me know if anything is amiss in his world. He and his brother “Fred”, the darker apricot, are the same size although very different in looks and personality. Fred would like to think he is a tracking dog. This guy would excel at hunting or flushing birds, his nose is on the ground and he is paying attention to any scents that blow his way. Bringing up the rear but by no means left in the dust (or cloud of snow) is “Jake” who is 2 1/2 pounds lighter but way ahead on the learning end of the scale…. this guy would go places in obedience. His gentle nature makes me wish he was a female so I could keep him for breeding. I think Jake would like to have his own kids to play with.

I have these boys priced to sell at $500 and that is delivered price. You will get a demonstration on what they know when they are delivered and pointers on how to continue to make them into a dog that is the envy of the neighborhood in looks and obedience. I am not making any money on these boys as I have already put a lot of work into them BUT the right home is the goal here and they are ready to give you their best. Looking into these big brown eyes every training session is my pay this time.

————————————————————————

Amber and Einstein have 6 pups left available. As you can see by the pictures they are cat proof and love to ham it up for the camera. They are 15 weeks old and know all kinds of things already, I keep rotating them so they don’t bond with their siblings, two to a pen. These are sweetheart pups and it should be illegal to enjoy them as much as I do (especially on picture day). I have started taking them out to their exercise pen with a leash so they are started on the leash but I would not be so bold as to advertize them as leash broke. You can not go wrong with one of these guys at this price ($500) as they have 3 sets of boosters, have been dewormed 3 times and I have put a lot of TLC into them. They are bomb proof at having nails clipped and lay in my arms on their back for belly rubs which is their favorite thing besides play time in the exercise pen with the ball and an old bleach container that they delight at trying to keep to themselves. These guys will be extremely loyal, intelligent and easy to house and crate train (they sleep in a crate with the door off so know no fear of the crate). They would like to go to their forever home and give their heart to their forever family. In exchange for food, shelter and health care they will dedicate their lives to you! You will not find this quality of pup for this price anywhere, I am on the short list now for my second knee replacement and would rather have less money and know they are in their forever home. For more pictures of any particular pup please call 306 792-2113, 306 521 1371 or 403 919-1370. Browse my website to see what else is going on at Fur Fettish Farm…. seeing a pup discover snow for the first time never gets old here and hopefully I never get too old to enjoy it.

————————————————————————

These are Amber’s remaining pups available. Potential delivery date to Alberta would be this coming Friday, October Oct. 28th. I am delivering to Winnipeg this coming Wednesday, Oct. 26th. They are 13 weeks old now and I have put a lot of work into making them into quiet, well behaved little characters that are ready to get a leash on and follow their new master to the park. They have had three sets of boosters, have been well handled and had the little tips clipped off their nails every week to teach them about having their feet handled. They have been dewormed three times. They know come, sit, stay when the kennel door is open and off. They have a crate in their pen that they play in so crate training should be a breeze. They all poop and pee in the designated area of their pen (they are in a large horse box stall) so house training will be a quick and easy event once they know what door you want them to go out. It will be easy to teach them to do their business in one area of your yard or acreage. I have lots of dog training and bonding tips that I am more than willing to share. These pups have the potential to be whatever you want them to be. Strong retrieving instincts are showing up so they could easily become a hunting dog or just bring back the ball or Frisbee.

They are non to minimal shedders. What that means is: If they do shed it will be very little, like what you get out of your hair brush, they will not shed like a Labrador, they never need to be clipped unless you want them to be, they just get the shaggy look. My F1 are kept outside and because they are kept on straw and shavings they get a few mats that I simply pull off in the spring. For more information or pictures call (306)792-2113 or email me using the contact page and I will answer ASAP.

————————————————————————

These are Amber and Einstein’s male pups available (pictures taken October 2). They were dewormed, given their third set of boosters, nails done and lots of loving and cuddles today. This is quite the crew… they are quick to learn anything I have had time to teach them. They know ‘come’, ‘off’, ‘stay’ and ‘quiet’…. and of course ‘puppies Grammie is here with breakfast’. I can not say enough good things about these guys. They will make someone a wonderful dog for many years and will be the most loyal and loving friend you could ever want to have…. and all in exchange for some pets and grub. Now if they only made people with those qualities we would have a perfect world! For more information or pictures of any certain pup just e-mail or call….

————————————————————————

These are Amber and Einstein’s pups that are available (pictures taken September 23, 2011). This bunch of hooligans are starting to retrieve already, when I take them out for one on one time they will run and get the ball and bring it back. They are ready to go (Amber weaned them last week with no fuss) and they are coming along well with ‘sit’ ‘off’ and ‘come’. They pick up quickly on what I want them to do. They are all peeing and pooping in the designated area so will be very easy to house train. They have a crate they nap in with the door open so crate training should only take a few days. These pups have such a sweet temperament, they just want to be loved on and have belly rubs and ear scratches. They are $700 delivered to most towns or cities in Saskatchewan and Alberta, have two sets of boosters, are dewormed and have had a complete vet check…for more information call 403 919-1370 or 306 792-2113.

————————————————————————

These pictures were taken September 11th. The barn cat is “Big Turk” and he was determined that he was going to be with the pups for pictures. He left when there were only four to take pictures of, then he went and climbed in with the little pups for a nap. None of the mothers seem to care, in fact it is like he is puppy sitting so they can take a break! His fur is all matted from them nuzzling and chewing on him, but he just lays there and purrs up a storm…so ‘yes’ my pups are cat proofed! These are F1 Labra Doodles from Amber and Einstein, born July 21st and ready to go September 15th. These pups will mature at about 45 to 55 lbs. on the average and be from wavy to straighter coat, they will be Benji type shaggy.

————————————————————————

Today (August 31) was picture day for this bunch of F1 Labra Doodle Hooligans. It was raining and they were in nap mode so this was a real fun photo session, they just wanted to go back to sleep. Once they had their pictures taken they went into an empty pen to keep everyone separate and then once they were awake all hell broke loose… they chased fluff off the trees, tasted the hay, pulled each others tails and generally raised a ruckus. These guys already poop and pee in a designated area, are eating dry food and drinking water. They get canned food in the morning and are waiting in anticipation for me to come and feed them. This is Amber and Einstein’s first litter, she has done an amazing job for her first time and keeps her pups clean and snuggles them to sleep, it is a thing of beauty to watch a good mother tend to her pups.

These pups will be ready September 15th, when they will be 8 weeks old. They will have two sets of boosters, be dewormed and have a complete vet check before leaving. They are $700 and that price includes delivery to Edmonton, Calgary, Regina and Saskatoon.

————————————————————————

These are Amber and Einstein’s F1 Labra Doodle first pups together. They total 11. The first few days I had to help with the bottle but by day 4 she was doing it on her own and nobody was hungry. They are four weeks old now and just starting to eat (and wear) their first “porridge”, so I spend a lot of time sitting on the floor of their pen getting covered in puppy formula and loving it. They already waddle over to me and try to get into my lap when they are done eating and go to sleep… they would be happy to just lay there for a few hours and sleep. I would love to climb into their box and sleep with them but there is always too much work to do, so they have to nap without me.
These pups will be ready mid September and will be $700 (that price includes delivery to main cities). They go out of here well protected with boosters, deworming and vet check.
The batch of pictures above was taken August 18th. Black pups are very hard to take pictures of as everything is black (coat, nose, and eyes), but in person they are cute as a button…. one of the boys is fairly small compared to his brothers but he was the first one to eat on his own and is a feisty little character.

Korral

Some news and fresh pictures from Korral and Kamryn‘s “retirement villa”! Their owners tell us:

Couple of pics I thought you might like. The kids came down today with Korral & Kamryn. Last time I saw them was in gasoline alley when you were out and Korral was a bit tubby. Korral has always been good for the kids, but seeing her today is like seeing a different dog. She is at her proper weight and fights for attention with the others. She seems happy and out going and is a wonderful dog. I think having Kamryn around has done her the world of good. The three had a good time roaming around. It was awesome seeing them all together.

————————————————————–

Korral was born October 8th, 2005 from Kayden and Klifford “the big red dog” amongst a litter of 14 puppies. She stood out right from the start as an outstanding pup and had all the qualities I was looking for to carry on this bloodline. She was a sweetheart of a pup that grew into a sweetheart of a dog, a very easy dog to have around. She had her first litter in May of 2008 when she was 2 1/2 years old, 13 F1 Golden Doodle puppies fathered by Einstein. She was a very dedicated mother that didn’t even want to leave the pups long enough to eat, drink and go out to the bathroom.

Korral got a long rest between litters – she had her second litter July 2010 by c-section followed by an immediate spay, also from Einstein.   She whelped an awesome 15 puppies.  Her and I were both overwhelmed with feeding all these hungry little munchkins.  We split the litter in two playpens and rotated every two hours. In all fairness to Korral she retired after this litter.  Producing 28 pups in two litters is more than most dogs do in four litters. Korral now lives on an acreage in Alberta with kids… her dream home. It is hard to part with a dog like Korral but she certainly earned her own home and family.  Little does she know that her half sister, Kamryn, will join her when she retires this fall…what a bonus for me to put two sisters together for the rest of their life.  The icing on the cake is that their mother, Kayden, retired to the same parents of this family, so all three will get the occasional romp on the farm together. I love having happy endings for my girls when they retire!

Amber

Amber is the last pup I kept back for breeding from Abbey and Trump before Abbey retired.  She was born May 21st. 2009, and came from a litter of 6 pups.  She celebrated her second birthday with Einstein and would now like to announce that she has had eleven F1 Labra Doodle puppies on July 21st., 6 black and 5 apricot…so still no chocolate. She is doing extremely well for her first litter.  The pups needed a few bottles to get them and her going but now she is managing on her own. She is getting two big cans of dog food and all the dry puppy food she wants and the pups are fat little grunters at this stage. Pictures of the pups will be taken at about 4 weeks of age and added to this page.

Amber is a very gentle girl, much like her mother in character and actions.  She is smaller than Abbey by about 10 pounds, weighing about 50 lbs., and standing 21 inches at the wither. The pups from Einstein and Amber should mature around the 50 lb. mark and be about 21 to 22 inches at the wither, so mid size dogs.  They will definitely be winners with the combination of parents and grandparents they have. These guys are bred to be loyal and gentle, intelligent and clean, easy to train and just all round good family members.
