Krissy

I am so happy to hear that Krissy is fitting in to her new home in LaRonge, she is a beautiful and kind girl, not to mention beautiful. Her new family wrote:

Here is the good old happy girl Krissy with her new kids as you can see she’s fitting in very well up here in La Ronge. She was quite the shy gal the first few weeks made me wonder sometimes if we were the right home for her but she soon over came that shyness and is now wagging her tail more each day and showing more interest in everything. A lot of gentle words and petting has sure paid off she’s a wonderful dog inside and out. Thanks again for giving us this opportunity to be her forever home.

Krissy is a very well put together English Labrador Retirever, she was born Nov. 11, 2010 and is a deep Chocolate with a great Old Type Lab head, well set eyes and ears, good barrel chest, good spring of rib and straight back. This girl is quiet in nature, has wonderful manners….she is going to go on to produce some outstanding F1 Labra Doodle pups!

Willow Ann

This is Willow Ann with her new baby, Mason. What a beautiful picture. Her family sent more pictures along as well and wrote:

We are the happiest. She is the best dog ever. She’s now 2 yrs old and weighs 40lbs even. She’s an amazing swimmer and runner and biker and fetcher. And when I say biker I mean she runs beside me in the bike. She can heel and walks everywhere with no leash. This is a recent achievement that we’ve worked hard toward. She can spot a squirrel or chipmunk and knows not to chase. I’d be tempted to get another one from you but we just had a baby boy. She’s amazing with him too.

This is Willow Ann (with special guest Jersey), full sisters born May 4th. from Daisy and Einstein…they both live in Saskatoon and the owners know each other so the dogs get a romp in the park together…now how cool is that? I totally enjoy it when my buyers send pictures once in a while so I can see how my pups are turning out and I can see these two are just fine! Her owners let us know:

See the pictures of Willow below – also, the ones with the black dog are Alicia’s dog Jersey – we randomly met at the Dog Park – Willow and Jersey loved each other! Hope you’re having a very Merry Christmas Season!

F1 Labra Doodle Litter (Krissy) – Born October 30, 2012

All Krissy’s puppies have now been SOLD!

Krissy and Einstein now have only two males available from their Oct. 30th. litter of 9. Both will be loose wavy coated and mature at about 60 lbs., they are classified as minimal to non shedding. Some of this litter showed signs of brindle in their coats but these two boys seem to be remaining coal black. They have had three sets of boosters so are safe to go anywhere you want to take them. I have put almost a months leash training on them and they are both coming along very well with ‘heel, ‘sit’ and we are working on ‘kennel up’ and ‘stay’. For training purposes they are name Cowboy and Andy, Andy is just slightly smaller than Cowboy. They are now priced at $600 and the price will go up with each months work done on them at the rate of $100 a month. These guys are ready to go to Obedience Class and walk away with a first, they do stairs one at a time in a heel position and remain right beside me during training, in the proper heel position. So for someone that doesn’t have time (or know how) to train a pup to walk properly….this is your dream dog. The price includes delivery to most places in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba……if I do not have more than one pup going you may be required to meet me part way. You can use my contact page or call me at 306 792-2113

Krissy and Einstein had their first litter of outstanding puppies on Oct. 30th. Due to some health issues on my part these puppies were not advertised as they should have been but I have spent a great deal of time with them playing, handling paws, clipping nails and imprinting them. They have had three sets of boosters and been dewormed three times. They will grow into very loyal and easy to train fellows with the calm Labrador temperament, nice flat heads, not pointy heads, good barrel chests and they should mature at about 55 to 65 lbs. The price of these pups has been reduced to lighten my work load but now I have the girl that worked for me three years ago back and feel like my burden of working like a mule has been lifted. But fair is fair, the price was already reduced on this litter so it will remain at $500, including delivery safely from my arms to yours. The next litters will be at the regular price so if you are looking to add a Doodle to your home now would be the time to grab a deal. My pups are two year health guaranteed for ears, eyes, hips and elbows for anything hereditary. I am extremely careful about the quality of pups I bring into this world and have many references on my site to attest to this. There are three males to choose from (pictures at the top of the gallery above).

Their only remaining female (pictured with a monkey wearing a red hat stuffy) is at the bottom of the above gallery. She is a very gentle soul, with Lab temperament and great puppy skills with how quickly she catches on to what is expected of her. She has never been allowed to lick or jump up and put her feet on me, she is good about having her nails done and paws handled and would excel at a family with children to call her own. She has had three sets of boosters and has been dewormed three times so is good to go to the dog park or lake with no worries about Parvo Virus. For more information on this girl who will be about a 50 lb. beauty when she is done filling out her brindle coat, call 306 792-2113 or use my contact page. She is $500 delivered to most main towns or cities.

Krissy, Chocolate English Labrador Retriever, now has only two females left to choose from, both are showing signs of being brindle in color, the father to these pups in Einstein, my Apricot Standard Poodle and the pups that have brindled off him are gorgeous and unique in color.

They were born Oct. 30th. and are well mannered, gentle, quiet, clean and extremely eager to please. They have been well handled but due to a surgery that limited my sitting time, they were not properly advertized….hence they are 12 weeks old. Every ounce of energy I had went into spending time with my pups, they are what gets me out of bed in the morning. I have reduced the price of these girls to $500 from the regular price of $700 because going to their forever family is more important right now than money.

They are old enough to sleep through the night, they have had access to a crate with the door off since they were 5 weeks old, so crate training will be a breeze. They have been taught to pee and poop in a designated area, they have a dog door and never make a mess inside their house….so housebreaking will also be quick and easy. These girls are the smallest out of a litter of 9, I estimate they will mature at about 50 lbs. Both are quiet natured, leaning towards the sad sack Lab look and they have Krissy’s solid barrel chests and beautiful heads.

So far we have had only one leash session, it went very well with the hedgehog female and was literally an brisk afternoon drag with the monkey stuffy girl. A few more tries and they will have it down to a science. For more information call 306 792-2113 or use my contact page.

Krissy and Einstein have a few F1 Labra Doodles left available….two of them are featured in this ad and are now named Jake and Kate. Both are showing signs of brindling in color as they get their coats in….they are incredibly soft and silky, loose wavy coats that will not need to be clipped unless you want them done, they will be shaggy like Benji. They are very well handled, due to my health I have not been able to do computer time like I should but spending time with my dogs and pups is where all my energy goes. So these are very well handled, great mannered, no bad habit, pups that will grow into the best dog you could ever want to have as part of your family. They are quick to pick up on what is asked of them and very loyal, smart, clean, and super intelligent.

They were born Oct. 30th so are now 12 weeks old, which means they are now old enough to go for a walk and sleep through the night or be crated a little longer for those who work away from home during the day (or night). They would love to have their own kids to play in the snow with and it always warms my heart to put a pup with a kid….for a long, strong, bond between kid and dog!

I have reduced the price of my F1 pups to $500, that price includes delivery as I have to do what is best for my pups. They have had three sets of boosters and are dewormed so it doesn’t take a math genius to figure out there is not profit here, just beautiful pups waiting for the right family to pick them.

For more information call 306 792-2113 or use my contact page and I will do all I can to put the right pup with the right family.

Let the insanity begin! It should be illegal to have this much fun with the puppies! Krissy and Einstein’s F1 Labra Doodle puppies are now 7 weeks old and are starting to show their personalities. They are so much fun to play with and as you can see by the pictures they do get played with, they take all this costume props in stride….a little grunting and groaning along the way but on the whole they love it.

These pups get their second set of boosters this week and will be ready to go on Boxing Day. Krissy, their Mum is an English Chocolate Labrador Retriever and Einstein, the Dad, is an Apricot Standard Poodle….and yes all of the pups are black….I was a little taken aback by that myself, so the Black Lab genetics run strong here.

You can not fault the quality of these guys, and they have the laid back Lab temperament and personality with a soft hair coat that will be loose wavy to loose curly. They will be minimal to non shedding, which means if they shed it will be like what you get in your hairbrush, not like a Lab sheds…that is the whole idea with this cross, you maintain the Lab characteristics and get the Poodle hair coat qualities and the Poodle smarts. These will be loyal, clean, easy to train family dogs that will bring love and companionship to your family for many years.

For more information use my contact page or call 306 792-2113 (leave a message) or 403 919-1370 (cell) or 306 521-1371 (cell)….I am a long time breeder and I stand behind what I breed with a 2 year health guarantee for ears, eyes, hips and elbows for anything hereditary. If you see a puppy that catches your eye refer to it by the toy that is with it and I will send you all the pictures I took of that particular puppy.

—————————————————–

Krissy (Chocolate English Labrador Retriever) and Einstein (Apricot Standard Poodle) camped out together in September, this camping trip produced 9 puppies born on October 30th. There are 4 males and 4 females available for adoption. These pups will be exactly 8 weeks old on Christmas Day, I am willing to deliver on Boxing Day, which is good for the kids and the puppy, it will not be lost in the shuffle of wrapping paper and the kids will still have a week off school to play with it. Please do not gift one of my puppies to a home that doesn’t know it is coming, this is a decision that is to be made wisely as you will be living with this puppy for about 15 years, so choose carefully.

Both parents are loyal, intelligent, clean and have excellent confirmation….this combination will assure you are getting a pup with the best physical start possible. I have imprinted them at birth, they are well handled and taught obedience and submissiveness from the start. I do not let bad habits, such as face licking and tugging on clothing or boot laces, start so this puppy will come to you with no bad habits to break. I take great pride in the pups I produce, it is hard to hand them over when the time comes but I know in my heart I am bringing you a cherished new family member that is sure to bring a lot of love into your home for many years to come. I am struggling to keep my prices down ($700) but think everyone should be able to afford a good Doodle, not just high income people.

Each puppy has her own Stuffy, so if you are interested in one particular pup refer to it by the stuffy that is with it in the picture and I will send you all the pictures I took of that puppy. Pictures are updated weekly, once you have picked your puppy you will receive fresh pictures of him weekly until he arrives.

For more information call 306 792-2113 or 306 521-1371 or use my contact page to send me a message. I have pictures of the parents of these pups so you can see what a great pair these two are for breeding stock. The price of the puppy includes delivery safely into your arms….I do not ship my pups, therefore they arrive untraumatized and ready to dazzle you with cuteness.

Sully

Another update on the magnificent Sully! In answer to their question below, cutting the hair shorter (not clipped out) will help with the snow balls. Around the base of the foot and between the pads and toes, don’t clip it all out, it will be way too cold on his feet. I love the picture of his lounging on the couch! They asked:

Sully loves the snow and sleeping on the couch. The cold does not bother him. However, he does get ice balls in his paws and there has been some blood in the ice balls. Do you know of anything or use anything that prevents ice balls and protects the paws? Thanks.

Check out this great video! I can not believe how gentle Sully was with this sparrow, he could have swallowed it whole! I am going to forward this to all my dog people… these guys have done an amazing job!

Here is a quick update from Sully’s family:

Just a quick email to let you know Sully s doing great! We’ve been extraordinarily busy around here. He was great with my brother’s 10 month and 3 year old. Our son was home for a week and they bonded like bothers! Just like people you can see a different kind of relationship with different people!

Sully’s walking has improved tremendously with lots of patience, reinforcement and persistence. He still likes to be slightly in front but not pulling.
He is so affectionate I call him my “love bug”. He has made a collection of loose tree branches logs under the pine tree in the back yard. He has been house broken for months so much that the new carpet arrives this week! We are working on a surprise trick for Kylee’s return in 2 weeks from Europe.

His most favourite toy are eggs that squeek and come with a stuffie toy, in our case crocodile, that have a pouch to put them in so the dog can dig them out! He loves us to throw and he loves to fetch them. He will purposefully toss or push them into places that create more of a job to get to them! For instance, under the dishwasher open door, behind a coffee table, etc. He is pure enjoyment to watch!

Sully’s owners sent us another update, as well as the video above which features the playful Sully stealing a Kleenex!

Sully is still enjoying skiing with us. There is one designated dog trail at the ski hill. Sully will wait at a door until asked to come out. He can sit, down and wait on hand signal and verbal command. He is superb at leave it. We are having to work lots on loose leash training outside. Indoors he is perfect.

He really enjoyed watching and listening to War Horse the other night. He seriously looked like he was taking in the entire movie! He must remember about animals in the barn.

Another update from the owners of the very well-trained Sully! They wrote to tell us:

Well the training is going well. The pop can with pennies was only needed once for barking at night and jumping up when excited along with positive reinforcement of the appropriate alternative behaviours!
This is Sully, 5 months old, holding a carrot in his mouth for 3 minutes on a “wait” before he can eat it. He is soooo smart! AND cute too!

——————————————-

Sully’s owners sent us some new pictures! They wrote:

Sully is doing very well. We had a good first Christmas with him and our son in town. He picked up a few bad habits like smoking (see attached photo) Smile. He loves cross country skiing with us. Really stays close and keeps checking on both of us. He starts puppy classes in January. We have been practicing “watch me” and “wait”. He is super smart and has a strong desire to train!

——————————————-

Sully lives in Winnipeg with his happy new owners. He is from Danni and Cesar’s September litter. His owners wrote to tell us:

Sully has been keeping us hopping. He loves all the attention he can get and running around outside. He is too cute, and smart. He is already piddling in the outdoor dog pen for us. He is at 90% coming when we use the informal “here Sully.” We are holding him lots now while he is small enough. Puppies grow so fast. We dug some paths through the snow and he runs around in them. We think he smells the rabbit, but has not seen it yet. He has noticed the birds including the blue jay peering into the patio window that I have stopped feeding since I found many small dead sparrows in our yard! Our daughter is loving the company and relationship. The first few nights were a bit rough, but we moved the kennel into our bedroom and he has been fine. The best word to describe his adjustment is secure. He is so secure. We believe all of your intentional actions from the get go have allowed him to be so relaxed, confident and well adjusted! We have attached a few photos. Sully goes to the vet on Tuesday. We will definitely keep you posted every week – 2 weeks for the next while. we can hardly wait to parade him around the neighbourhood!
