Newton

Newton, Standard Poodle, is the son of Nancy (Casey and Pluto’s Daughter) and Einstein (Registered Standard Poodle). Casey came without papers so her pups were sold as ‘pet stock’ and her grandchildren will be sold the same way. I am not a big fan of registering my dogs but concentrate on making sure they are sound and have the best temperament possible, and keeping my prices reasonable along the way, and to me that’s what breeding is all about. I have put many pups into their forever homes over the last 46 years and have the pleasure of getting to know some pretty awesome people along the way.

Einstein will be 9 on the 21st of April so I am covering my tracks by keeping back his son. I have had a few males quit breeding at 9 to 11 years of age so you might say ‘Newton’ is my insurance plan. If God allows me to keep my breeding program going to another four years Newton can then go on to work for another breeder. I will try to keep Newton’s progress updated with pictures and a short report card.

Dolly

Dolly was born on July 25th, 2011. Her Mother is Misty, English Lab, and her Father is Einstein, making her an F1 Labra Doodle. Misty was my pick of the litter from Abbey and Trump, and Dolly was my pick of the litter from Misty, so I am highly impressed with the breeding in this dog. She has the mild Lab temperament and a nice flat Lab head and she is going to go on to produce some fine F1B Labra Doodle pups from the new guy on the block, Cesar.

Sask

I simply love to hear and see how the ‘fruits of my labour’ have turned into a valued member of their family. These Doodles definitely love the snow and their family, they are loyal beyond belief. When I go out to do chores I throw the gate of each pen open and whoever resides there goes for a run around the farm, checks out the donkeys, Llama and Alpaca but keep an eye on me to make sure I have not gone somewhere without them. Once in a while I come into the house for some reason and go back out to find them sitting in the pen waiting for me to close the gate. My pack is what keeps me laughing with their antics melt my heart. I can not thank my puppy buyers enough for updates like this, I look at the pictures over and over and look at the love in their eyes and know they will be just fine and that they are happy and healthy. Thought we would give you an update of how Sask is doing. We have grown and continue to grow fond of her. She has proven to be of a gentle nature and full of energy. We all enjoy our long walks along the river. Sask loves meeting other dogs and playing, She is much more interested in other dogs than in any toy we bring to the dog park.

Having said that, she also loves to cuddle. She is happiest when we are around – alone time is not her favorite. Sask seems to have a sense of when it is the weekend or when the work day is coming to an end and one of us should be arriving home. We love having her around.

The pictures attached are, in order – trying to escape the gated kitchen to be with everyone, her first hike with us, her first haircut and her first snow. She loves the snow.

This is Sask, she lives in Calgary with her new family. She is a sister to Reese, Rusty and Lefty. Her new family wrote:

Sask has settled in well. She has a quiet but curious personality as is evidenced by her shyness with people. She, however, loves other dogs and enjoys playing with the ones we meet at the park. She is partial to that bone you gave us. She loves licking it and playing with it.

We love coming home as Sask always has a warm welcome for us. We are looking forward to the warm weather so that we can spend more time outside.

Reese

Reese is one of Tigger and Cesar‘s F1 Labra Doodles, he has two brothers that look exactly like him that are in training now and will be ready for their new homes in about a week. His new family sent us a photo and wrote:

We thought that we would provide you with a quick update on how Reese is
settling in. As I type this email he is lying at my feet under the desk.
That probably tells you how he is settling in!!

I have attached a photo of Reese and our daughters. They absolutely love
him. He has already bonded himself to the whole family. We have had a
couple of accidents in the house, but that is mostly our fault and figuring
out his cues and rhythms.

He is extremely gentle and laid back. I have only seen the puppy come out
of him in the mornings after a long sleep. He is very content just to be at
our feet. Walking has been great. His heel and sit is very good. Our
daughters have both walked him with virtually no pulling!

We are starting obedience class in the next couple of weeks to keep up the
learning and good habits.

At this moment, I honestly don’t think we could have found a better dog for
our family.

I hope all goes well with your health and the rest of the pups. We will
certainly stay in touch.

F1B Labra Doodle Litter (Dolly) – Born March 6, 2014

All Dolly’s puppies have been sold!

Due to a buyer backing out for medical reasons there is still one male F1B Labra Doodle puppy available from Dolly (F1 Labra Doodle Misty and Einstein) and Cesar (Registered Chocolate Silver Factor Standard Poodle) born March 6th, 2014. This cross makes this little man an F1B Labra Doodle. This is a well handled little monkey with a sweetheart personality, I sincerely hope he goes where there are kids because he will soak up all the attention he can get! When I am sitting in the whelping box this little character takes his share of pets and belly rubs and comes back up onto my lap to try to take the next guys share also!

This pup will be ready the end of the month when he is a full 8 weeks old, the vet is coming this week for boosters and complete vet check. He is $900 delivered safely into your arms as I do not ship my puppies but choose to meet each buyer and place the pup safely into their arms. He is two year health guaranteed for hips, ears, eyes and elbows for anything hereditary. I am extremely careful about my breeding program to assure you the best quality pup at the most reasonable price. I have lots of references on my website. This is a 15 year commitment so choose wisely when you purchase your next family member.

I titled today’s pictures, ‘Is it Spring yet?”

This is a non shedding puppy, he may blow his puppy coat in the spring but after that he will not shed, a regular brushing once a week is the kindest thing you can do for your dog, pick a night of the week that is quiet time and brush your dog that evening. It will not only bring out luster in his coat but will bond you with your puppy. I stand behind what I breed and will advise as long as you need me on training issues. I love what I do and hope to be able to do this for at least another four years. If you have been thinking about getting a Doodle this is the time to act on those thoughts! Dolly, daughter of Misty and Einstein, making her an Apricot F1 Labra Doodle, has now had her first litter of seven F1B Labra Doodle pups sired by Cesar, my Chocolate Standard Poodle. The pups are all Apricot and Blonde in color and there are only two males left available from this litter. These pups will mature at 60 plus pounds, will be low to non shedding, dew claws are removed and they are very well handled. They were born March 6th and will be ready to go when they are a full 8 weeks old, May 1st. They are $900, the price of the pup includes delivery to your area as I do not ship my pups but choose to drive them to be safely placed from my arms into the arms of the forever family.

These will be extremely intelligent, loyal, eager to please dogs that love the water and the company of their human family. Dew claws have been removed and they are very well handled. The tiny ends are nipped off their nails weekly and they are given daily paw massages so they will be very good about having their feet handled. They will have two sets of boosters and lots of instructions on how to keep them safe from Parvo Virus. I stand behind what I breed and make myself available to help you with the transition of bringing a new puppy into your home.
