Eddie (Regina)

This Eddie and the one from Lorette, Manitoba are both from the same litter, Darby and Cesar Feb. 26th. 2013. It is not the first time I have had two full siblings with the same name. This Eddie lives in Regina and it sounds like he is quite the character also. I am thrilled that some of my buyers update me on their pup. I sometimes get a chance to see one of my pups in person and it is breathtaking for the moment that they smell me and remember who I am (especially the ones I bottle supplement). This is what keeps me ticking folks and I get very excited when you share your Doodle stories with me. I sincerely appreciate the time you take to stay in touch. Eddie’s family told us:

Hi! Thank you so much for sharing the email regarding Eddie’s brother. How funny that two from the same litter get the same name!

Our life has definitely not been the same since this guy joined our family! He is a character! He is definitely mama’s dog, he follows me everywhere! If I’m in the bathroom, he waits outside the door! Always has to be in the same room as me. If someone is playing with him and I leave the room, he has to keep checking on me. The first year was a little rough, he started to eat socks, and I mean swallow them! I don’t even know where he would get them sometimes! It would have been alright if he just chewed, but no, he’d eat them! Wound up in hospital because of it, although he got them out on his own, thankfully! This is more of a rare occasion now, so we hope it was a puppy thing! We would love to grow out his fur, but he is so curly and he doesn’t like to be brushed, so it is easier to keep him shaved. In the photo it is shorter than usual, we let it grow for the winter, but couldn’t keep on top of the mats. . Oh well, I love him shaved and he can always wear a sweater! He has lots of energy and is a toy destroyer! We have a “Barkbox” come to the house once a month and the toys are lucky to survive 48 hours! He does have a great time in those hours though! He can still be a handful, but we can see the amazing dog he is becoming and I look forward to years of love with him! Three kids and my dog keep this house active!

Devron

Here are some great new pictures of Devron and his kids. His family wrote:

I just thought I would give you a quick update on Devron…. we have moved into Saskatoon and Devron has adjusted well. We love having Devron as part of our family! I have included a few pics so you can see him in his new environment.

This is Devron, son of Dinah and Cesar, born Sept. 7th. 2013, in his new home in Langam.

Darla

Darla is the daughter of Kloe, Golden Retriever, and Cesar, Silver Factor Chocolate Standard Poodle. This girl has turned out to be the most exceptional mother I have ever owned. She has bonded so tightly with her offspring that I am sure she counted them every time I left her pen. She lays on the straw and plays with them, holding them between her front paws like a mother bear, and rolls around in the straw with them. She has done the gentlest job of weaning them, low slow growls and no nipping at them like some mothers do. She has always had the option of sleeping in a ‘get away’ crate but has chosen to remain snuggled in the whelping box with them cuddled around and on top of her.

She ‘went camping’ with Einstein, my Apricot Standard Poodle. This camping trip resulted in a litter of nine sturdy, happy pups. She will be bred the same way next fall as I am thrilled with the results of this mating.

Dakota

This is Dakota, one of Dane and Cesar’s males born August 9th. 2014, and his little side kick, a toy Poodle named Demi. It looks like these two are busy holding down the couch. Dakota and Demi live with their family in Regina and I know they are spoiled rotten and treated like part of the family. Thanks so much for sending, Jo. Pats from Grammy MA! His family wrote:

Dakota went for another haircut last week. Ohhh my he jumped on the grooming table and in the tub…He was very good at the spa lol. He relaxing now in his sister Demi’s bed omg he’s funny..

Dakota, son of Dane and Cesar from their August 9, 2014 litter. He went to be a companion to Koby, who was a terminally ill Standard Poodle but sadly Koby passed away very shortly after Dakota arrived. This is so sad, parting with a four legged faithful friend is one of the hardest things on earth to deal with. Dakota’s new family wrote:

He and Demi sure get along good but I think he figures Demi is his favorite chew toy… she sure makes some interesting noises when I squeek her lol..
I attached a pic of Dakota and Koby…I sure miss him!

This young man is Chance. For reasons unknown he developed Irritable Bowel Syndrome (I have the same thing so maybe I need to go on his diet). Crystal is right, he is beautiful and shiny. I knew when I placed Chance in her arms she would be a great dog mum, and I like it when people stand behind their dog like Crystal has! Apparently Chance has taken up logging and pulls trees out of the bush, that was fun to watch! Chance lives with his family on a beautiful acreage near Bonnyville, Alberta. They wrote:

Here’s a recent video of Chance after a haircut. As u can see he is now doing great. Our lil fur ball was diagnosed with IBS when the diarrhea didn’t stop. So now he’s eating home cooked meals by his mom and is on supplements from a great Vet called complete and balanced by Hilary. We love and adore our boy.

He loves to run and play outside and pull small trees out of the bush. I just wish he’d pile them by the fire pit!! But he has fun get to rip through the bush and be free!! And we like watching how big the sticks get.

He’s happy and healthy 60lbs. His fur shines and I love how he reacts to the fresh food. His diet now consists of chicken breast, beef liver, blueberries, broccoli, peanut butter, fish, yogurt, tomatoes and Hilary 20 supplements and minerals. He also gets coconut, cod liver and safflower oils in his food.

This is Chance, one of Tigger and Einstein‘s lucky pups to have a new family. Chance lives near Bonneyville, Alberta. I would say this is one lucky puppy! There is a long story behind her picking Chance, she has had a lot of tragedy this year and he is now the sunshine in their life, and what a ray of sunshine he is! His new family told us:

What a kind and gentle pup he is!

Buddy (from Winnie)

This is one of Winnie and Cesar‘s male pups from May 12, 2014. This is a beautiful dog, I hope everyone else that got a pup from this litter is as happy with their puppy as Lori. I love to hear they have lots of energy, that translates into healthy puppy in my dictionary! Buddy’s family told us:

Thought I’d send a few pics of “Buddy”. He is a big boy with lots of energy… he weighs 32 lbs.

Bruno

This dapper looking young fellow looks like he should put on a Derby Hat. He looks wonderful Jenn and it sounds like you are doing an awesome job. Bruno’s mother, Dory, is retired and lives on a farm near St. Brieux, Sask. with two little girls that she adores. Cesar is in his working clothes and having sleep overs with three girls in three pens, I rotate him so he gets a break and a long run every day. Bruno’s family wrote:

We love seeing the pics of Bruno’s siblings! Here are a couple of Bruno. He is about 52 lbs now and is a very sweet dog, he’s also very smart, we have been able to teach him a bunch of tricks already.

We love him so much!!!!

Bruno, son of Dory and Cesar‘s July 26th litter. Bruno lives in Winnipeg with his family. It looks like I raised a litter of sweater models. His family wrote:

Here’s a recent picture of Bruno in his Christmas sweater. He’s doing great and is growing so fast! He is such a good boy! (Most of the time)

Boom

Boom is one of Dory and Cesar’s females from the July 26th. 2014 litter, a litter that spans 4 provinces. Boom lives with Micah, a non verbal child that she took to as soon as they met and is obviously doing her job. I met Micah when I delivered Boom, she is named Boom because Micah loves storms and can say Boom. This was such a loving little man, I even got a big hug before we left. Boom lives near Edmonton. She looks very happy in her family. I thank each of you that takes the time to update me on how your Fur Fettish Doodle has turned out, it really is what keeps me going. Boom’s family told us:

Micah and Boom are doing very well together. Boom also loves our other dog Chewie, and can pester her frequently. Unfortunately, we had quite the scare less than 24 hours after we brought Boom home. Micah went into multiple seizures (he had never had previous seizures) and spent almost a week in the hospital. The first thing he asked for after 5 hours of heavy sedation was for Boom. It was so hard for him to get his new puppy and then be stuck in the hospital. However, with medication Micah is doing much better.

Boom is a very good dog, she can find socks and books everywhere, she thinks they are delicious. She is a very kind dog, as we have a very busy family with six children.

Enjoy the pic of Our boy and his dog.
