Dawn

Dawn is a February, 201,2 model out of Hannah (a very stocky Chocolate English Lab) and Cesar, my Chocolate Standard Poodle. I really expected chocolate pups from this cross but the yellow Lab in Hannah’s background and the black genetics came through in this female. I tell her that women pay good money to get their hair frosted to look like this.

Dawn is one of my smallest F1 Labra Doodles weighing in at 45 lbs. This is her first litter and she was bred to Newton (son of Einstein, grandson of Pluto) so we have some very good foundation stock here. Dawn is a very gentle mannered dog, I didn’t think she was ready to take on a litter of pups in 2015 so the litter in her, due mid April, will be her first and they will be F1B Labra Doodle pups.

Dawn was coal black when she was a pup and slowly the blonde and chocolate highlights started to show up. She is a very loyal dog, dedicated to please me, which makes it very hard to retire her when the time comes. She simply loves other dogs and there is not a pen I can’t put her in that she doesn’t bond with whatever dog is in it.

Darla

Darla is the daughter of Kloe, Golden Retriever, and Cesar, Silver Factor Chocolate Standard Poodle. This girl has turned out to be the most exceptional mother I have ever owned. She has bonded so tightly with her offspring that I am sure she counted them every time I left her pen. She lays on the straw and plays with them, holding them between her front paws like a mother bear, and rolls around in the straw with them. She has done the gentlest job of weaning them, low slow growls and no nipping at them like some mothers do. She has always had the option of sleeping in a ‘get away’ crate but has chosen to remain snuggled in the whelping box with them cuddled around and on top of her.

She ‘went camping’ with Einstein, my Apricot Standard Poodle. This camping trip resulted in a litter of nine sturdy, happy pups. She will be bred the same way next fall as I am thrilled with the results of this mating.

Dane

Apparently we do not have a post for Dane so I got busy today and took pictures of her. She looks very blonde with the sun shining on her but she is actually apricot. Dane was born June 3, 2012. Her mother is Kloe, an outstanding Golden Retriever with everything going for her in looks, temperament, confirmation and intelligence. Her father is Einstein. He is a bit smaller for a Standard Poodle but completely confirmationally correct and just a pleasure to have on the place. This makes Dane an F1 Golden Doodle. Kloe always had a rough spot on her nose from opening the kennel latches with her nose, the kids would show everyone how smart she was and take the snap off the latch and wait about 30 seconds until Kloe discovered the snap gone and out she would come, much to the delight of the children!

Dane had her first litter on August 9, 2014 (check out these boys and girls for yourself). The sire is Cesar, my Chocolate Standard Poodle who outweighs Einstein by a full 10 lbs. now. This makes her pups F1B non shedding Golden Doodles. Dane and Cesar’s pups have the best of the best for Grandparents and parents, all nine are black but are now showing signs of Brindling, which Cesars pups do no matter what color they start out as. I jokingly tell people that women pay good money to have their hair dyed like these dogs turn out.

Dane did a great job of mothering her pups and wanted to stay with them long after she was out of milk. Some mothers want out for good when the pups are about 8 weeks old and only stand to nurse. Dane not only laid down but rolled around and played with her pups, it was a delight to pull up the lawn chair and watch the antics of this litter.

Dallas

I did not give up on Dallas and she is rewarding me with her first litter of F1B Labra Doodles, at almost three years old. She is now officially overdue with Cesar’s offspring. Dallas is the daughter of Amber and Einstein, and was born July 21, 2011. Amber’s parents are two of the best English Labs I have ever owned, Abbey and Trump. Dallas is quite curly coated for an F1 Labra Doodle so her pups will definitely be non shedding. Watch my web page for birth announcements on this litter, this girl has lots of Chocolate in her background so with Cesar being a Silver Factor Chocolate Standard Poodle we could get some Chocolate offspring this litter. I will send announcement notices to my waiting list first to assure they get first choice on a puppy, then announce on my web page.

Dolly

Dolly was born on July 25th, 2011. Her Mother is Misty, English Lab, and her Father is Einstein, making her an F1 Labra Doodle. Misty was my pick of the litter from Abbey and Trump, and Dolly was my pick of the litter from Misty, so I am highly impressed with the breeding in this dog. She has the mild Lab temperament and a nice flat Lab head and she is going to go on to produce some fine F1B Labra Doodle pups from the new guy on the block, Cesar.

Krissy

I am so happy to hear that Krissy is fitting in to her new home in LaRonge, she is a beautiful and kind girl, not to mention beautiful. Her new family wrote:

Here is the good old happy girl Krissy with her new kids as you can see she’s fitting in very well up here in La Ronge. She was quite the shy gal the first few weeks made me wonder sometimes if we were the right home for her but she soon over came that shyness and is now wagging her tail more each day and showing more interest in everything. A lot of gentle words and petting has sure paid off she’s a wonderful dog inside and out. Thanks again for giving us this opportunity to be her forever home.

————————————————————

Krissy is a very well put together English Labrador Retirever, she was born Nov. 11, 2010 and is a deep Chocolate with a great Old Type Lab head, well set eyes and ears, good barrel chest, good spring of rib and straight back. This girl is quiet in nature, has wonderful manners….she is going to go on to produce some outstanding F1 Labra Doodle pups!

Deeva

Meet Deeva, the smiling F1 Labra Doodle. This girl was born here on Fur Fettish Farm on August 26, 2012. Her mother is Amber, an outstanding Chocolate English Labrador Retriever. Her father is Pluto, a now retired black Standard Poodle who is still with us, and at 12 1/2 years old is solid as a rock.

Deeva is a bit of a clown, she literally smiles, pulling her gums back and showing off her pearly whites. Her mature weight is about 65 lbs. She has a very nice flat English Retriever head and wide chest with good spring of rib. Her temperate is very much Lab, laid back and extremely loyal.

She is pregnant with her second litter of pups, due mid April 2016. She was bred to Einstein, who has produced many great Golden and Labra Doodles over the years.

Deeva, daughter of Amber and Einstein, is wishing everyone that visits our web site, a Merry Christmas….this girl just keeps looking better, I can hardly wait for 2014 when she and Cesar (Chocolate Standard Poodle) have their first pups. This is what keeps me ticking! I will be 65 this month and am hoping my old body holds together until I am 70 (for my dogs sakes) and then I will have to rethink my breeding program….until then I intend on producing some beautiful pups that will go on to become an important part of many homes! Merry Christmas from me, Margaret-Ann, and all my critters!

Check me out guys and keep an eye on this website in two years when I have my first birth announcement! I am from Amber and Einstein, I was born on August 26th. 2012, my Grandmother is Abbey and my Grandfather is Trump….all are English Labrador Retreivers, so I have a nice flat head, perfect eye and ear set and a nice barrel chest. My Dad, Einstein, is a registered Standard Poodle, he is apricot and has sired some of the best Doodle pups in Canada. I am destined to be bred to Cesar, a registered Chocolate Standard Poodle, when I am two….the results should be pretty outstanding. I am a very gentle, eager to please little girl that learns quickly…I have very good manners as that is the rule here on Fur Fettish Farm. Pictures of me will be updated as I get older, I am going to be a beauty….Margaret-Ann keeps telling me that and I am trying not to let it go to my head!

Dory

Dory in her new home on a farm near Melfort. I really wanted her to go where there were kids and room to be free, and she looks pretty happy.

—————————————————————–

I brushed Dory out and took fresh pictures of her. She is (hopefully) bred to Cesar (Chocolate Standard Poodle) and due to whelp in July. I am really hoping for a few Chocolate as her Grandmother is Abbey, my first Chocolate English Lab, her Mother is Misty (Yellow English Lab) and her father is Pluto….these should be some outstanding pups as Misty’s Father is the Mighty Trump. Dory was born June 8th, 2010 and this will be her second litter.

———————————————————–

Dory is Debbie‘s full sister, but they are not alike in build or personality.  Dory was born June 8th, 2010, her mother is Misty, making Trump and Abbey her Grandparents.  Her father is Pluto.

Dory is a clown.  She follows Debbie everywhere and then when Debbie takes a break Dory sits on her head, or pulls on her collar, brings her a dead leaf or a toy and wants to go play again.  She idolizes her sister but likes to be in her own pen and have her own space.  She is very much in looks and characteristic like her aunt, F1 LabraDoodle Dayle.
