Abbey

Abbey was from two chocolate English Lab parents.  There were 6 chocolate and one yellow in the litter she came out of.   Abbey produced some outstanding Lab pups from Trump (Misty) and F1 LabraDoodle pups from Pluto (Dayle).  Two of her F1 granddaughters, Debbie and Dory, will go on to carry her great bloodlines.

Abbey picked her own forever owner, a neighbor girl worked for me part time.  Abbey followed her everywhere and laid at the bottom of the ladder when she was painting… it was a forever friendship in the making.  Now she lays on my neighbor’s bed and I am told Abbey growls if anyone comes near her bedroom door at night.   That would be Abbey, faithful and loyal.   She came to visit me for Christmas but did not show any signs of wanting to stay.  After her visit she was ready to go home with her very own private person.

Dory

Dory in her new home on a farm near Melfort. I really wanted her to go where there were kids and room to be free, and she looks pretty happy.

I brushed Dory out and took fresh pictures of her. She is (hopefully) bred to Cesar (Chocolate Standard Poodle) and due to whelp in July. I am really hoping for a few Chocolate as her Grandmother is Abbey, my first Chocolate English Lab, her Mother is Misty (Yellow English Lab) and her father is Pluto….these should be some outstanding pups as Misty’s Father is the Mighty Trump. Dory was born June 8th, 2010 and this will be her second litter.

Dory is Debbie‘s full sister, but they are not alike in build or personality.  Dory was born June 8th, 2010, her mother is Misty, making Trump and Abbey her Grandparents.  Her father is Pluto.

Dory is a clown.  She follows Debbie everywhere and then when Debbie takes a break Dory sits on her head, or pulls on her collar, brings her a dead leaf or a toy and wants to go play again.  She idolizes her sister but likes to be in her own pen and have her own space.  She is very much in looks and characteristic like her aunt, F1 LabraDoodle Dayle.

F1B LabraDoodle Litter (Dayle) – Born March 31, 2011

These pictures were taken April 17th.  They are F1B LabraDoodles from Dayle and Einstein.  They will be Dayle’s only pups in 2011.  This litter was born March 31st, so they are about three weeks old.  Taking pictures is a challenge as these pups really know my smell and want to be in my lap…they are starting to get personalities now and I am in Heaven in the whelping boxes. At this time there are two females (pictured above) and six males (pictured below) to choose from.

Dayle

Another pic of spoiled Dayle! Her family wrote:

Here’s Dayle in her natural habitat. She couldn’t make it to the couch and could barely make it onto the bed! What a stinker.

Dayle, spoiled rotten in her retirement home!!

If all my dogs could score a home like Dayle did when she retired I would be the happiest dog breeder in the world. Her new family sent us this picture with the caption:

Daddy and Dayle

I made this for my granddaughter, but it
suited Dayle better!

Dayle in her retirement home. I am thinking she has gotten a little soft!

A new picture of Dayle lounging in her new “dog house”! This girl’s got it made!

Update on October 20, 2011 – Added some pictures of Dayle in her new home! This lucky dog has scored a pretty awesome home for the rest of her life!

Dayle is now retired and has found a love seat in her forever home that she has claimed as her own. She has two other dogs and two cats to play with and her new owners are already raving about what a good dog she is. She was always an outside dog here so I was a little concerned about them taking her into the house but they tell me she has never made a mistake, always asks out and goes to her spot in the yard… I am always thrilled when people brag about my retired girls!

Dayle is a blonde F1 LabraDoodle, born August 14, 2006.  She presently has 8 puppies, born March 31st, 2011.  All are blonde or apricot in color, 6 males and 2 females.   This is her 3rd litter.  She will have her final litter next year about the same time and then will retire to a farm or acreage home.

Dayle is from my now retired Chocolate English Labrador Retriever named Abbey.  It was extremely hard to part with Abbey when she retired as this girl gave me some outstanding Lab and Doodle pups.   Dayles father is Pluto, my black Standard Poodle, and she was bred all three times to Einstein, my Apricot Standard Poodle.  Amazingly enough Dayle, having a Chocolate mother and black father, is blonde and has not thrown one chocolate or black pup in three litters.

This girl has the stout Lab build and throws pups that tend to mature bigger than Danni’s.  Dayle’s pups mature at 60 to 75 lbs.  Her pups are non shedding F1B LabraDoodles.   She has a very calm temperament and that ‘wise old owl’ look about her.  I am very happy with the quality of pups I am getting from both my F1 Labra Doodle girls.  Dayle weighs about 60 lbs. and stands 23 inches at the wither, her half sister Danni is only 21 inches at the wither.  Both girls have the Lab head and are both wavy coated.

Check out some of the pups from Dayle’s previous litters:
