Boh

After seeing the difference in the pups from Tigger and Einstein and her and Cesar I think her last litter will be from Cesar. What a beautiful dog this guy is, he lives in Saskatoon. He was originally named Turk but they changed it to Bogart and now he is just Boh.

Here are some great pictures and a video from the family of Boh, who is Tigger and Cesar‘s pup from October 1, 2013.

Sask

I simply love to hear and see how the ‘fruits of my labour’ have turned into a valued member of their family. These Doodles definitely love the snow and their family, they are loyal beyond belief. When I go out to do chores I throw the gate of each pen open and whoever resides there goes for a run around the farm, checks out the donkeys, Llama and Alpaca but keep an eye on me to make sure I have not gone somewhere without them. Once in a while I come into the house for some reason and go back out to find them sitting in the pen waiting for me to close the gate. My pack is what keeps me laughing with their antics melt my heart. I can not thank my puppy buyers enough for updates like this, I look at the pictures over and over and look at the love in their eyes and know they will be just fine and that they are happy and healthy. Sask’s family wrote:

Thought we would give you an update of how Sask is doing. We have grown and continue to grow fond of her. She has proven to be of a gentle nature and full of energy. We all enjoy our long walks along the river. Sask loves meeting other dogs and playing, She is much more interested in other dogs than in any toy we bring to the dog park.

Having said that, she also loves to cuddle. She is happiest when we are around – alone time is not her favorite. Sask seems to have a sense of when it is the weekend or when the work day is coming to an end and one of us should be arriving home. We love having her around.

The pictures attached are, in order – trying to escape the gated kitchen to be with everyone, her first hike with us, her first haircut and her first snow. She loves the snow.

This is Sask, she lives in Calgary with her new family. She is a sister to Reese, Rusty and Lefty. Her new family wrote:

Sask has settled in well. She has a quiet but curious personality as is evidenced by her shyness with people. She, however, loves other dogs and enjoys playing with the ones we meet at the park. She is partial to that bone you gave us. She loves licking it and playing with it.

We love coming home as Sask always has a warm welcome for us. We are looking forward to the warm weather so that we can spend more time outside.

Reese

Reese is one of Tigger and Cesar‘s F1 Labra Doodles, he has two brothers that look exactly like him that are in training now and will be ready for their new homes in about a week. His new family sent us a photo and wrote:

We thought that we would provide you with a quick update on how Reese is
settling in. As I type this email he is lying at my feet under the desk.
That probably tells you how he is settling in!!

I have attached a photo of Reese and our daughters. They absolutely love
him. He has already bonded himself to the whole family. We have had a
couple of accidents in the house, but that is mostly our fault and figuring
out his cues and rhythms.

He is extremely gentle and laid back. I have only seen the puppy come out
of him in the mornings after a long sleep. He is very content just to be at
our feet. Walking has been great. His heel and sit is very good. Our
daughters have both walked him with virtually no pulling!

We are starting obedience class in the next couple of weeks to keep up the
learning and good habits.

At this moment, I honestly don’t think we could have found a better dog for
our family.

I hope all goes well with your health and the rest of the pups. We will
certainly stay in touch.

Sadie

This is Sadie, one of Tigger and Cesar‘s females from the October 1, 2014, litter. This breeding will be repeated this fall if all goes well. Sadie still has two brothers here in training, to be sold as well started pups. They are named Rusty and Lefty. These two have really produced some awesome pups, Reese went to his forever home on Friday in Regina as a well started pup, he took to his new owner the moment the leash was in his hands, this always makes me feel more confident that I have the right dog in the right home. The pups that I have started are harder to part with for me and I love to hear how my pups are making out with their forever family so I sincerely thank the puppy owners that send me an occasional update like Kerry has done, it is very much appreciated. She wrote:

I am sending a picture of Sadie(Roxie) just shy of 6 months. She is doing great and we could not be happier with her. The kids are really enjoying her. We can hardly wait to get her out to the cottage. She is going to love the water.

Rusty & Lefty – F1 Labra Doodles (from Tigger) – Born October 1, 2013

Rusty and Lefty have both been sold!

Rusty and Lefty, born October 1, 2013, are now going into full training mode. They are doing very well on leash and are now starting crate training and house training to a dog door off my office. These boys are F1 Labra Doodles. The mother is Tigger, a chocolate English Labrador Retriever and the father is Cesar, my Silver Factor Chocolate Standard Poodle. Estimated mature weight should be around the 70 lb. mark and they will be 22 to 24 inches at the wither.

I kept the males back for training and there are now only two left. The bitterly cold winter threw us a little behind but the honking of the geese has begun and we are back on track. We are working on serpentine with pylons, ramps and stairs, sit is mastered and down and stay are started, recall is amazing on these boys and they have been excellent students so far. They have been separated so they do not bond with each other and are ready to bond with their forever family.

Dew claws are removed, they are intact, have three sets of boosters, are dewormed and very well mannered. No jumping on people or licking has been allowed. These are very intelligent, eager to learn, loyal dogs that are minimal shedding, they have not yet blown their puppy coat but with a weekly brushing that will be over shortly. These boys would love to go to a family that goes to the lake, or a hunter who wants a buddy to retrieve his ducks next fall. These boys are old enough to be crated when you go to work, I am finding there are a lot of people who do not have time to start a young pup with their work schedule but still would like a pup.

The price of the pup, $1,100, includes delivery to your area. If you are further away we can make arrangements to meet part way. Please use my contact page if you would like to know more about Rusty or Lefty (who used to be named Hershey but is so good with using his left paw to get a ball or toy out of a tight spot that he has earned the name of Lefty).

Roxy & Sallie – F1 Labra Doodle (from Tigger) – Born October 1, 2013

Roxy and Sallie have been sold!

Roxy and Sallie were born Oct. 1st, 2013. Their parents are Tigger, my smaller Chocolate English Lab, and Cesar, my Silver Factor Chocolate Standard Poodle, making these girls F1 Labra Doodles. Roxy (Clarice Reindeer toy) is the smoother coated of the two, and also the smaller, although she will get shaggy as she gets older, she will never be as shaggy as Sallie (pink Wubba toy).

They have just been started on leash. This bitterly cold weather has slowed our progress down but we are trying to work once every two days. They were in the house for pictures and were understandably a little wary but I let them stay in after pictures and they checked the place out and decided it wasn’t scary and having a nap in the sun would be in order so both comfortably laid in a sunbeam and had a long nap. I know some people think that pups should be in the house in winter but I do not agree. I have my pups where they can sleep together in warm dog houses that are not drafty and are full of nice dry straw. This gives them the option to go to a buyer that wants an outside dog, or a buyer that wants an inside dog…you can take an outside dog in but you can not take an inside dog and put it out!

These girls are classified as minimal to non shedders, they have a gentle, quiet temperaments and are both very quick learners that are eager to please. The price of a pup now is $900, that includes delivery. Once they have more work into them the price will go up. They have not been allowed to jump up on people, lick or tug on clothes so they are leaving me with lots of manners and good ground work. Their feet are handled lots, they have always been laid on their back in my lap so they learn submission. To get more information on one of these crackerjack good pups please text 306 521-1371, call 306 792-2113 or use my contact page.

———————————————————-

Roxy and Sallie have now started obedience training and both are loving the extra attention. These girls were born Oct. 1st so are three months old and now have the attention span to retain their training and start learning new skills. Roxy, with the Clarice Reindeer toy, is the straighter coated one of these females and Sallie, with the Pink Wubba Toy, is shaggy coated. Both are the smallest pups in the litter but will not be small dogs, my guess is they will be about 50 to 55 lbs. of extremely lovable, intelligent and loyal canine. They both have soft personalities, they are tail waggers that wag all the way to their neck once they start. When they were in the barn, (which is where my pups stay unless they are adopted) in a safe quarantine area, they learn to come to a whistle, get nails nipped weekly and paw massages and belly rubs. They learn to keep their feet off me (4 on the floor), that no licking is allowed and tugging on clothing is not in a pups best interest, they also learn to pee and poop in one designated area and that napping in a crate with the door off is fun. They are provided with toys that hang from the rafters and toys that roll around their pen, by this they learn coordination and to share. My pups are never penned alone and are never out of food and water, they are fed dry food free feed in chicken feeders to minimize waste, and watered in chicken waterers for safety (so a pup doesn’t fall into a pail). Yesterday was the big day, three weeks past the third set of boosters and warm enough to go outside and romp in the snow….oh what fun we had! Picture taking was really great as it had finally warmed up and then I pulled up a chair and just ‘puppy watched’ for about half an hour, there is nothing to cheer me up more than watching pups explore new territory and meet other pups. Roxy and Sallie need about another weeks work on leash and then they will be ready to either go to their new family or onto more intense training, at which time the price will go up accordingly. I try to give my pups the best possible start so they can go on to be great dogs.

If you may be interested in one of my Doodles and want a little older pup that will be ready to keep up by summer, then now is the time to let me know. The price of the pups is $900 at this stage, that includes me delivering her safely into your arms if you are on the central prairies, if you are further away we can arrange to meet part way, or you can fly to Regina and I will take your pup to the airport to be escorted home by you. I do not ship my puppies. For further information please text 306 521-1371 or use my contact page.

————————————————————–

Roxy and Sallie are daughters of Tigger, chocolate English Lab, and Cesar, Silver Factor Chocolate Standard Poodle, making them F1 Labra Doodles (half Lab and half Standard Poodle). They were born October 1, making them 12 weeks old now. I did not aggressively advertise them as I was having some health issues and I don’t really want my pups to be caught up in the hype of Christmas, I want them to be the center of attention with their new family.

Tigger is the smallest of my English Labs and also the one with the most character. I have three full sisters in my breeding program: Tigger, Winnie and Robyn. The smallest of the pups is the straighter coat female that I have now named Roxy, and the mid size female is now named Sallie (you can certainly change their names once they are your puppy). Roxy is the quieter of the two, she likes to be held and follows me everywhere I go in her pen just hoping for one more pet or cuddle. Sallie on the other hand is the rascal of the two, she is the girl that will take the ball or toy and run with it, trying to get Roxy to chase her. Both these girls are very good about having their feet handled, being laid on their back for belly rubs and are excellent about having nails trimmed.

My take on these two are that Roxy would like a home where things are more laid back so she could bond with her family, go for walks and go on to excel in obedience as she really pays attention to what is going on around her, she is a very quiet pup that lets her sister announce when I show up to play with them. Sallie would like a more rambunctious type of family that would have kids that want to throw a ball, take her swimming in the lake, go cross country skiing and maybe become an upland bird hunters dog. She would announce an intruder, so far she is quiet as soon as she is told so she is not a barker, but if you want a dog that will let you know someone is at your door this is the girl for you. Roxy is smoother coated, she will get wavy with a shorter shaggy coat, Sallie will be shaggy coated, both will get blonde streaks throughout their coat as they mature.

These girls are trained to pee and poop in one area of their pen, so house training will be quick and easy. They sleep in a crate with the door off, so crate training will be fast, I have lots of instructions on how to keep them happy in their crate and I am a firm believer that crate training and house breaking go hand in hand, and that pups house train a lot easier in winter. They are old enough to sleep through the night or stay in their crate a full day while you are at work. They do their business faster when their feet get cold and only track in clean snow, not mud as in spring.

If your New Years resolution was to get in shape, here is your motivation….you will have a dog to take for a walk! These girls have had three sets of boosters and have been dewormed twice, so they are safe to go anywhere now. I stick by my pups and my buyers, so if you need advise I am only a call or email away. For more information on Roxy or Sallie please text 306 521-1371 or use my contact page.

These girls are $900, that price includes delivery… if you are further away and I don’t have two or more pups going your way, or if you are further away, you can meet me part way. I do not ship my pups but choose to place them safely into the new families’ arms.

F1 Labra Doodle Litter (Tigger) – Born October 1, 2013

All Tigger’s puppies have been sold!

Tigger and Cesar have four dandy F1 Chocolate Male pups ready for adoption. Christmas, bitterly cold weather, and a concussion, delayed advertising these boys but we are more concerned about the right pup for the right home than having them lost in the gift wrap of the holidays. So now that things have settled back into a routine it would be a great time to fit a pup into the schedule and have him well trained by the time you go to the lake. The pups started leash work yesterday, their fist day out of the barn, it has now warmed up enough that they can have the freedom of the biggest dog run on the farm, with two dog houses and a canopy to play under and toys to chase around. The pups are now 3 months (13 weeks) old and are prime age for learning new things. Until this point they have been taught manners, no licking, no jumping up on people and no tugging at clothes, pee and poop goes in one small area (we will enforce that rule in the big outside pen also). These guys are old enough to sleep through the night, they have had access to a crate with the door off, and now to dog houses with swinging dog house doors, so crate training would not take long. Within the week they will be walking in proper position at my side and will be working on sitting each time I stop without being told, once we start more advanced training the price will go up accordingly.

They each have such a different character and I would be more than happy to tell you about them individually once you have narrowed it down by looks which pup you may be interested in, or you can tell me about your life style, and what you expect of a pup, and I can try to fit the right pup with you. Now that they have started training they have names, the smallest straighter coat male is Rusty, the clown, with the green Toss-a-round toy. The Mid size Shaggy coat with the Red Toss-a-round is Hershey the bird watcher. The Shaggiest with the Orange Toss-a-round is the scamp in the crew named Reese and last of all is Turk, the smaller of the shaggy coats has a quiet gentle disposition, he has his gray Teddy Bear in the pictures with him.

Also in these pictures are their sisters, Roxy and Sallie, about whom you can find more information on their very own page.

These pups have had three sets of boosters, have been dewormed and are well handled with nail trimming and paw massages, laying on their back for submission and come to a whistle. They were trained to pee and poop in one area of the pen inside the barn and we are now continuing that training outside. The price of the pup, $900, includes delivery to most places on the central prairie, buyers from further away can meet me part way or fly to Regina where I will meet you so you can accompany your pup home. I do not ship my pups. For more information text 306 521-1371 or use my contact page. I do not negotiate the price of my pups, this is what I do for a living and I am already the most reasonably priced breeder of quality Doodles.

————————————————

Tigger (Chocolate English Lab) and Cesar (Silver Factor Chocolate Standard Poodle) have produced their first litter of F1 Chocolate Labra Doodle puppies. Meet the males, ‘Teddy’ with the Blue toy, is the biggest of the shaggy boys, ‘Rusty’, with the Green toy is smallest of the shaggy boys, ‘Hershey’ is shaggy and mid size, ‘Reese’ is shaggiest with the Orange toy and last but not least is ‘Turk’ with his Teddy Bear, both he and his teddy have a smooth coat. This is the “Happy Gang”, these guys are rolly polly, play like heck, then sleep like heck, get up and have a snack and start all over, kind of pups. They have been a fun litter to work with right from the start. Tigger was a little overwhelmed by it all the first few days but then would lay back and show them off once she figured out what to do.

Dew claws are removed, two sets of boosters, deworming and vet checks are done, they are 8 weeks old now and ready to find their individual homes and become a valued family member for the next 14 to 15 years. The boys will become intelligent, kind, gentle and extremely loyal dogs that will give you many years of love and affection in exchange for food and attention. They are $900 and that price includes safe delivery into your arms. I do not ship my pups, I drive them as close as I can get to their forever home. I deliver the Central Prairies, if you are further away you can arrange to meet me part way. For more information text 306 521-1371 or use my contact page.
