F1B Golden Doodle Female (Darla) – Born December 9, 2015

All of Darla’s female puppies have been sold!!!

This is the last available female from Darla and Newton’s December 9, 2015, litter. She will be ready to go about the middle of February when she has had two sets of boosters, has been dewormed twice and will be totally vet checked. She is $1,200, that price includes delivery to most places on the central prairies. She comes with her stuffy, a 2 kg. bag of Purina Puppy Chow and a can of Pedigree. I send my pups with lots of instructions and their vet certificate.

Her mother is Darla, daughter of Kloe (Golden Retriever) and Cesar (Chocolate Standard Poodle), and her father is Newton, son of Einstein (Apricot Standard Poodle) and Nancy (Standard Poodle and daughter of Casey and Pluto). There is some excellent bloodlines in this puppy and she will be a gentle, intelligent, clean, easy to train pup that has the capability to be one of the best dogs on the planet.

Bella (Calgary)

This is a beautiful example of a Doodle that has brindled. They were all coal black at birth and it is hard to tell which will brindle out like Bella did and which won’t. This is one of Kloe and Cesar’s Dec. 17th. 2012 litter. I miss Kloe, she was a great dog to have around. The family that has her are all red heads so she fits right in, I would love to see a picture and if I get one I will share it with you.

Darla, the female I kept, just has some silver hairs in her but they are all over and when she is clipped you can see chocolate down her back. Thanks for this great update Darlene. Have a great spring with Bella. She wrote:

Here is Bella chewing on a twig on the deck. You can see a little better how she brindled. Pretty well all over. Face, legs and hips. So cute I think.

This well brindled sweetheart is Bella, who lives with her very loving owner in Calgary….and is now playing with foster Chihuahuas. I really commend people who foster dogs until they can get a permanent home! I sincerely thank Darlene for this video clip. Bella is an F1 Golden Doodle from Kloe (Golden Retriever) and Cesar (Silver Factor Chocolate Standard Poodle), born Dec. 17th. 2012, Kloe’s second last litter, her last litter was from Einstein and they were all blonde or apricot.

The question she asked was, did the Doodles from this litter not all ‘brindle’? I don’t think many of them stayed totally black, I kept a pup from this litter, Darla, and she appears to be totally black until you look closer and she has Chocolate all through her coat, you can really see it if the sun is shining on her. Bella is really a good example of a Brindle, they usually don’t really start to show the brindle until they are about 4 months old, so it is impossible to tell which are going to get this brindle and which aren’t.

Darla, Bella’s sister, had her first litter last fall and she will be bred again this fall (to Einstein) so those pups should really be brindle now, I have received many updates on them. They were born Oct. 8th. 2014. I will forward this video to all of Bella’s siblings and to the families that have Darla’s pups, also to John to post on my web site. I would sincerely love to be updated on any of these pups. Darla will be bred to Einstein again this fall so her pups will be full brothers and sisters to the Oct. 2014 litter.

I have not been well this winter so I didn’t breed any of my girls until the middle of March, so in May I will start having pups. My notify list is long and I really admire people who are willing to wait, I am reassured then that it is not a spur of the moment decision.

Enjoy this spring that has finally sprung. I can hardly wait to sleep with my windows open and let the frogs sing me to sleep! Bella’s family wrote:

Video of Bella. Short and sweet. Btw Bella has lots of bridling all over her.

I love it when I send pictures of one of my pups (your dog’s) pups to the owner of siblings from the same litter and I get an update on a pup that I have not heard about in quite a while. This is Bella, born Dec. 17th. 2014. Her parents are Kloe and Cesar. I sincerely thank Darlene for sending these, I still have one of these girls. I will attach a few pictures of her, her name is Darla. She had pups late last year bred to Einstein. I have had dogs for many years and I have never seen a female play like she did with her pups, she would lay on her back and hold them in her front paws and roll around and ‘talk’ to them. Thanks so much for all of you who let me see how my pups are turning out. Bella’s family wrote:

Hi. Thought I would send a couple of pictures of Bella here in Calgary. The first is with her sister Carly and the second is my grandson with her. I have so many I could send you.

Darla

Darla is the daughter of Kloe, Golden Retriever, and Cesar, Silver Factor Chocolate Standard Poodle. This girl has turned out to be the most exceptional mother I have ever owned. She has bonded so tightly with her offspring that I am sure she counted them every time I left her pen. She lays on the straw and plays with them, holding them between her front paws like a mother bear, and rolls around in the straw with them. She has done the gentlest job of weaning them, low slow growls and no nipping at them like some mothers do. She has always had the option of sleeping in a ‘get away’ crate but has chosen to remain snuggled in the whelping box with them cuddled around and on top of her.

She ‘went camping’ with Einstein, my Apricot Standard Poodle. This camping trip resulted in a litter of nine sturdy, happy pups. She will be bred the same way next fall as I am thrilled with the results of this mating.

F1B Golden Doodle Females (Darla) – Born October 8, 2014

All of Darla’s puppies have been sold!!!

Darla (F1 Golden Doodle female from Kloe, Golden Retreiver, and Cesar, Silver Factor Chocolate Standard Poodle) had nine puppies on October 8. They were fathered by Einstein, my Apricot Standard Poodle. There are now only three females left and all three are starting to get their chocolate highlights along the muzzle and around the eyes, this is called Brindle and some get quite a bit of apricot and chocolate throughout their coat where others only get highlights. Regardless of what color they end up as you can be assured that these girls have the best of the best as far as confirmation and temperament go. I sincerely find it disheartening when people buy a pup with the color to match the drapes, many breeders are getting away with producing an inferior pup because they are sacrificing the integrity of the dog to produce a certain color.

I am very selective about the quality of my pups. The pups are health guaranteed for two years for ears, eyes, hips and elbows for anything hereditary. They have three sets of boosters, have been dewormed twice and are well handled. I am very proud of Darla for the way she has mothered these pups, she has weaned them but does not want to leave them. This is especially good to see because .her mother, Kloe, was not the best mother in the pack. She fed them and kept them clean but she really didn’t want to stay with them any longer than necessary. Darla, on the other hand, lays on her back on the straw and wraps her front paws around them and hugs them like a mother bear! She has been out of milk for at least a week but I have not seen her snap at these pups, she gives a low growl when they try to suck and lets them know that this is the end of nursing but not the end of mothering. I only have Darla and Dane from Kloe and I am sure wishing I had kept more back, but things are slowly winding down at Fur Fettish Farm.

The price of one of these girls is now $1,135.00, that price is delivered to most places on the Central Prairies. I will not be delivering Alberta until Dec. 28th. It is really not a good idea to get a puppy for Christmas day, they get lost in the hubbub. Either get her a few days before, or a few days after when the excitement is not quite so intense, puppies pick up on that. I am willing to meet my buyers part way if they want a pup earlier. Try to be prepared for a few sleepless nights, although that is not always the case. Once they are 10 weeks or more they can sleep through the nights and I give as many tips to make this transition successful as I can. Please use my contact page or text 306 521-1371 for more information or additional pictures. Tell me by the stuffy that is in the picture with the puppy, we have Eeyore, Blue Lambchop and a Fox to choose from.

———————————————————–

On October 8, Darla ( Black F1 Golden Doodle) and Einstein ( Apricot Standard Poodle) had nine fat, healthy F1B Golden Doodle puppies. There are now only four left for adoption, all four are females and these girls will not stay black. They are starting to get some Chocolate highlights along the bridge of their muzzle and around their eyes. Their Grandfather is Cesar, my Chocolate Standard Poodle and his pups change color as they mature, so these girls will brindle in color rather than stay black.

Mature weight will be about 55 to 75 lbs. depending on the puppy. Height at the wither (shoulder) will be 22 to 24 inches. These are non shedding dogs, clipping three or more times a year will be required unless you like them shaggy.

They have dew claws removed, feet are well handled, bellies rubbed and they are laid on their back in my arms and rocked and sang to. The pups that are spoken for, and named, get a song sang to them with their name in so they know who they are. The pups will have two sets of boosters and be dewormed twice before leaving me at a full 8 weeks old or older. Darla has done a remarkable job with her pups, she lays on her back and plays with them, steals their toys and runs around so they will chase her. It is not the norm for a mother, first litter, to interact with her pups quite the way Darla does. Hence we have the ‘happy gang’ going on here, these are a litter of tail wagging happy go lucky characters.

Each pup has it’s own stuffy or toy, that goes with the puppy when is leaves to help the transition from my arms to yours go a little smoother. If you see a pup you like the looks of please tell me by the toy that is in the pictures with her and I will send all the pictures I took of that particular puppy. The price of the puppy is $1,100 (firm) and that includes delivery to most places on the Central Prairies. Buyers from further away, or if there is only one pup going that direction, can arrange to meet me part way. Alberta deliveries are Dec. 6th and 7th, Regina delivery is December 9th or 10th, and Winnipeg dates are still open. For more information on one of these girls please text 306 521-1371 or use my contact page.

———————————————————————

On October 8, Darla presented me with a litter of nine healthy, robust puppies. Darla is a black F1 Golden Doodle with some Chocolate highlights along her back. Her mother is Kloe, a darker red Golden Retriever (now retired) and her father is Cesar, my Silver Factor Chocolate Standard Poodle, so this girl has some pretty impressive bloodlines, I will have to admit I was disappointed when this litter was born black, but have learned to hang in there and now the results are starting to show. Darla was bred to Einstein for this litter, he is light Apricot in color so once these girls start to change color it is going to be very interesting to see what the end result will be. My pups do not stay black, they get silver, chocolate and apricot throughout their coat as they mature, so these pups will become brindle in color as they age, starting at about 3 to 4 months of age. There are six females, one is already spoken for. I breed for confirmation and temperament, not for color, and we most certainly have the best of that showing here. These pups will mature from 50 to 70 lbs. There are two smaller ones but I will honestly say that the smaller do not always stay smaller and these will definitely be outstanding looking, solid, gentle, loyal and extremely intelligent dogs that you will be proud to be seen with. Many of my buyers tell me they are always getting asked ‘where did you get that beautiful dog’.

The pups will have two sets of boosters, be dewormed twice and totally vet checked before leaving me on December 7th. The price of the pup, $1,100 includes delivery to most places on the central prairies. So far there is one destined for Calgary and one for Milk River, Alberta. I do not ship my pups, I choose to deliver them and meet my buyers and place the puppy safely into their arms. They come with instructions on booster follow ups and feeding, training and anything you may have questions about. I stand behind what I breed with a two year health guarantee for anything hereditary with ears, eyes, hips and elbows (we are free from any of those problems in my breeding dogs). For more information on one of these girls please tell me by the toy that is in the picture with her and I will send all the pictures I took of that particular pup. Pictures will be updated in about two weeks. Text 306 521-1371 or use my contact page.

F1B Golden Doodle Males (Darla) – Born October 8, 2014

All of Darla’s male puppies have been sold!

Darla (F1 Golden Doodle from Kloe, Golden Retriever, and Cesar, Silver Factor Chocolate Standard Poodle) had a camp out with Einstein, my Apricot Standard Poodle. This camping trip resulted in nine robust, rolly polly F1B Golden Doodles, three males and six females. This is Darla’s first litter and she has excelled at this job of motherhood! Darla is a tall, black with chocolate highlights, extremely well put together female with a very gentle personality (her only downfall is she is a pick pocket, if a mere corner of a glove or Kleenex is showing from a pocket she sneaks up and gently removes it,then quick as a wink, hides it and gives the innocent stone face look….who me? Wouldn’t dream of stealing your gloves, surely someone just put this Kleenex in my mouth). I can see her pups are going to be little clowns like their mother and have the wise ways of their father, so non shedding, smart as a whip and beautiful like all their ancestors put together.

The pups will have two sets of boosters and be dewormed twice before leaving me, they are 5 1/2 weeks old now, they will be ready about December 7th. I am not prepared to hold a pup until Christmas, it is much better for the family, and the puppy, to get it before all the hype starts and have it crate and house trained in time to enjoy Christmas with the family rather than get lost in the wrapping paper. At the tender age of five weeks these guys already knew to climb out of the heated whelping box and go to the designated area of their pen to pee and poop, some litters take a few go rounds to ‘get it’ but this litter got it right off the bat. This is a happy go lucky crew, tail waggers, already zeroed in on the toys and Darla has the option to sleep away from them but I have not seen her do it once yet. She is snuggled under the heat lamp, surrounded by her crew of fat little monkeys. They are eating well a ‘warm canned food and milk gruel’ from a dish, I whistle when it is dinner and supper time and they all come scooting out of the box and surround the dishes, they have full access to both water and dry puppy food (hence the roly polyness).

My pups come with feeding, inoculation and training instructions. I am here if my buyers need me, to me a happy buyer means my pup will be happy and loved.

These pups are $1,100, that price includes delivery to most places on the central prairies, dew claws have been removed and they are well handled. Paw massages and belly rubs are in order, relaxing on their back in my arms and putting up with the insanity on photo day, are all taken in stride. For further information, please text 306 521-1371 or use my contact page. I am here to help you make a wish decision, remember this decision will live with you for about 15 years. Please discuss this with your family prior to applying for a puppy, it is very disillusioning to put many hours into a potential buyer and then have them tell you their partner is not on board with this decision.

Dane

Apparently we do not have a post for Dane so I got busy today and took pictures of her. She looks very blonde with the sun shining on her but she is actually apricot. Dane was born June 3, 2012. Her mother is Kloe, an outstanding Golden Retriever with everything going for her in looks, temperament, confirmation and intelligence. Her father is Einstein. He is a bit smaller for a Standard Poodle but completely confirmationally correct and just a pleasure to have on the place. This makes Dane an F1 Golden Doodle. Kloe always had a rough spot on her nose from opening the kennel latches with her nose, the kids would show everyone how smart she was and take the snap off the latch and wait about 30 seconds until Kloe discovered the snap gone and out she would come, much to the delight of the children!

Dane had her first litter on August 9, 2014 (check out these boys and girls for yourself). The sire is Cesar, my Chocolate Standard Poodle who outweighs Einstein by a full 10 lbs. now. This makes her pups F1B non shedding Golden Doodles. Dane and Cesar’s pups have the best of the best for Grandparents and parents, all nine are black but are now showing signs of Brindling, which Cesars pups do no matter what color they start out as. I jokingly tell people that women pay good money to have their hair dyed like these dogs turn out.

Dane did a great job of mothering her pups and wanted to stay with them long after she was out of milk. Some mothers want out for good when the pups are about 8 weeks old and only stand to nurse. Dane not only laid down but rolled around and played with her pups, it was a delight to pull up the lawn chair and watch the antics of this litter.

Belle

This is another of Kloe‘s pups, this girl lives in St. Boniface Winnipeg. Her family wrote:

Thank-you for the updates on the other puppies. Belle is an amazing puppy and so well behaved. We couldn’t be happier with her and for that I thank you. I attached a photo of her taken on Christmas. I’ll keep u updated in the future. I’ve already referred many people to your website and you as a breeder.

Molly (Calgary)

What a beautiful picture. Molly’s family wrote:

Just a quick note to say many thanks for molly. She is amazing well mannered dog. Her easy going attitude is really cool. We finally found a toy she likes – an orange plastic hockey ball!

—————————————————–

Molly lives in Calgary and looks like she has found a very kind and caring home…. every owner and puppy would do well to take at least the beginner puppy school classes. These Doodles will amaze you at how quickly they catch on and how willing they are to try to please you. Molly’s family wrote:

Molly puppy school graduation

She is amazing!!! Thanks for providing all that care in those crucial beginning weeks.

——————————————————

A new picture and a short update from Molly’s family:

She loves the snow. Mostly a laid back personality. We are off to dog school in January. She loves to chase rabbits. For the most part is house trained. My sons are glad to have a blonde in the family.

—————————————————

Molly’s family sent us a fresh picture and told us:

She is wonderful… good mild mannered most of the time. Loves the snow!

This is Molly.  She is from Kloe and Einstein‘s July 29th, 2013 litter.  She is a beauty!

Lloyd

An update on Lloyd:

Lloyd and his brother Frankie had such a nice play date last weekend! They instantly knew each other and had a great time together. Here are a couple photos!

—————————————————————–

This is another of Kloe and Einstein‘s boys, he also lives in Winnipeg and looks like he is a well loved character….I am loving this getting pictures of my pups. His family wrote:

Here is our little Lloyd! He is doing amazingly, we are actually in contact with another couple in Winnipeg who has one of Lloyd’s brothers. Hopefully we will be able to get them together soon.

He is a sweet boy who listens well and loves people. He has a very laid back personality with a look that will make your heart melt. We love him so much. Thank you!!

Freddie

This is Freddie, another of Kloe and Einstein’s July 29, 2013 pups. I have heard from almost everyone that got one of her eight pups now and it sure sounds like they all have a great home and their families are very happy with them. This is what keeps me going and I sincerely appreciate hearing how my pups are doing as they grow, this is what I am all about and the hardest part is to hand one of my pups over to a complete stranger, hearing back is the payoff for me! Keep up the good work…. Freddie’s family told us:

Our Freddie is turning out to be a great friend and companion. He heels on a leash, rings the bell hung at the back door when he wants to go out, and has yet to chew up anything that wasn’t given to him. He gets two long walks per day and gets along great with other dogs. We couldn’t ask for a better dog.

—————————————————

Freddy is the last pup from Kloe and Einstein‘s July 29, 2013 litter to leave, he moved to Regina today… I think we will be hearing more about the saga of Freddy as things progress. Looks pretty content to me! His new family said, simply:

It appears Freddy likes the new joint!
